More buildings:

In addition to the development costs described above, Mayor Mulder has recently added several buildings to the proposed Thornby park, such as the one requested below. Those newly added buildings may increase the overall development cost by an additional $1 - 10 million.

Loss of tax revenue

The City has estimated that the amount of annual tax revenue that would be lost if the City purchases Thornby would be about $3,600.

Maintenance and upkeep

We are not aware of any studies having been performed to determine how much it will cost the taxpayers of Deltona to maintain and upkeep a Thornby park each year, but it will cost tax money to upkeep.
